went to jb yesterday for the malaysian open.. many pros there man.. sorry if the following is realy technical cause it really is.. anyway.. on the train.. i saw this really disgusting fella.. at jurong east interchange.. he suddenly approached a girl and asked her if she was attached and whether she was interested in him.. the lady was too embarassed and went to another carraige.. he then used his handphone to openly take photos of her.. worse.. he kept staring at her during the ride and purposely bumped into another woman as she left the train.. FUCKING DISGUSTING
Rd1: lost to a really good player.. had black against a 4-pawn attack.. broke up white's centre.. had the chance to seize the initiative but was slow to counter-attack on the king-side.. lost
Rd2: won a simple game.. position was simple and had a very favourable 2R+2R ending
Rd3: encountered the sicilian as black.. cut throat game.. managed to push faster on the queenside as we castled on opposite sides.. =)
Rd4: had a much better position as white once again.. but failed to convert as black managed to exchange off pieces and reach a drawn positon
Rd5: played sicilian as black.. won a pawn but lost in the end as white had better compensation and his active pieces crushed me.. =(
Rd6: another cut-throat game.. king's indian as black.. he had the centre and queen-side while i took the queen-side attack.. in the end.. his pieces invaded my king-side as my position got screwed
Rd7: played e4! haha.. and won easily with the ruy lopez with a strong king-side attack
ended the tournament with 3 wins 3 losses and a draw.. it has certainly been a long time since i've been so satisfied with a 50% score!!! ^^
today i took part in the Mizuno Wave run! completed the 10km run in 56mins! that was despite walking the 1st 2km or so because of the number of people.. 8000 people were like trying to squeeze into the bedok reserviour's road.. lol! not forgetting the road was really muddy because of the super big rain.. my shoes and socks were totally muddy, wet and heavy nia.. very much preferred to run on a dry route though.. haha
alright.. time for my korean show.. =)
