this game was really lucky for me.. was initially losing.. then managed to bring his king to the centre.. and a rook sacrifice won the game in 25 moves..

bugger.. had the early advantage.. but then made a mistake by exchanging queens.. =( lost in 50 moves.. the endgame was really scary.. made many moves with 1 second left on my clock..

shit shit shit! the position was drawn! but i made a mistake that lost my rook for a bishop and a pawn.. time trouble again.. sian..

had a very decisive attack with the sicilian and won in 25 moves

i liked this game.. king's indian.. he whacked my queenside and i went for his king.. had to give up my white square bishop for a knight.. but a decisive attack on the king won me a rook and 2 pawns for a bishop.. won in the endgame in 52 moves

8th round : Ong Wei Chian (2047) 0-1 FM Tirto (2370)
aiya.. was expected to lose this game.. so i played the solid Nf3-g3-Bg2 thingy.. and actually had the advantage in the middle game.. had 2 knights and a bishop against 2 bishops and a knight with a closed position.. but then my bishop became a bad one and he won the game in the endgame.. 60 moves..

overall.. i think i really played well! even siong said that i played super solid during this competition.. as compared to the way i play the chess club members.. =) and i think what he said was quite true.. because i had good positions against all the strong players.. and brought them to the endgame..

oh yes.. i played pool with one of malaysia's best players! can tell la.. although i only lost 11-1.. 1 game already not bad! ok la.. that game he really give chance.. left with a straight black ball.. then he GL.. go and try and bank.. then i got a straight ball.. =) thanks for giving me face man!

ya.. i think that's what i really did in malaysia.. gotta go to school tmr.. =( i dunno whether i'm gonna use the crutches or not..

i've been staying back in school till night to study.. today was history.. usual suspects.. ben and mei yi.. i've decided.. no way can i study history with crappers around.. only studied for like 2 hours and then *poof*.. cock, cock and more cock.. =/ i think mei yi is quite a good crapper la.. at least compared to the start of the year.. ben? =))) even more rubbish..

collected my results after the whole celebration had ended.. ok.. call me an ass.. but i'm disappointed with my results.. my target at the beginning of the year was to top the class.. but i failed.. deservingly so.. janet worked so much harder than someone who plays so much bball and pool.. so i have new targets..

1. keep my maths at A and continue to be first..
2. shake janet off for econs.. ( tied with her for first ).. must get 1st 1st 1st!
3. better my history score and get into the top 5..
4. improve my GP grade..
