Day1:
after we arrived from the airport.. took a taxi to our hotel.. it was quite a simple hotel.. but the main point was it was on a hill top cause my mum didn't want to get into trouble in case a tsunami hits again.. =/
walked around the town.. shopping in Phuket is kind of boring cause it's the same stuff all around.. but yeah.. they're really cheap!
anyway.. the main highlight of the day came at night when we went to Fantasea!







firstly we had an amazing buffet at a hall comparable to one in Expo! amazing! it had food from all over the world and i stuffed myself full! =)
next was the much-awaited show.. and i must say.. it was the best play i have ever seen in my life.. A combination of breathtaking effects plus brilliant skills made the audience go "wow!" in awe with every shocker that managed to come up with.. With every passing minute.. I was constantly thinking "now what can you conjure up to impress us?" and another exciting stunt happens! Moreover.. they managed to tame the animals such as elephants and goats to act nicely for them.. and i'm not talking about one or two elephants.. i'm talking about more than 20! 20 of the world's biggest land animals all on one stage! imagine the magnitude! Of course.. i would not go into details on what took place because i dun wanna spoil the show.. but it's definitely not to be missed

Day2: Spent the afternoon at Phi Phi island.. it was like 1.5 hour ferry ride! But the time spent on the ferry was really good.. all spent on the top deck suntanning! the main highlight was that i went diving with the fishes! and saw reefs up close in personal..


















by the time all that had ended.. i reached back at the hotel at 6pm and rushed to town to catch Muay Thai!!! it was always something i looked forward to before coming to thailand.. =)
Muay Thai was simply fantastic.. the action was a great eye-opener for me.. lots of punches.. knees.. kicks.. elbows.. 5 rounds of 2 minutes.. unless you get knocked out before that.. i think i'll let the pictures do the talking



























































all matches start off with the fighters praying at all 4 corners of the ring.. followed by some weird prayers in the middle of the ring.. last of all.. the coach will pray for them and remove some funny headwear from them..

Day3: Spent on slacking on the beach.. enjoying the sun tan.. and just shopping around for some bargains.. and yes.. i did go back to watch Muay Thai at night.. =)

yup.. and that was my trip to Phuket.. kind of fun considering how boring my army life is.. ^^

back from phuket.. =)
it was certainly a nice holiday away from the fucked up life

feeling more upbeat about my army life right now! i've been made the ES clerk! yay! that's something like a clerk who settles all the indentment of spares and opening of jobs.. =)

flying off to thailand tmr morning.. feel like relaxing my fucking tired body.. finally! a holiday!

congrats to andre and jia quan for their A levels ending! it must finally be a big burden off your necks once that has all ended..

i cannot remember when was the last time i actually smiled because i was really happy

another week has passed.. but kind of a stressed week for the A level students.. jia quan has been studying really hard but all that has really come to nothing because he screwed up his maths paper.. he lost like 50/200 marks already.. i seriously hope the paper was hard to the rest of the students too.. haha.. so reminds me when i took my A levels! i screwed up my paper 1 like fuck but still got A cause stats saved me

went for my cousin's wedding.. was seated at the VIP table right in front! ^^ served by the waitresses.. watching the wedding was really nice.. but what happens before that really sucked when the parents meet each other after a long time.. "O so your son is in NUS? that's nice" "my daughter is studying biological studies in poly" blah blah blah.. it all seems to just be a gathering to compare who are the better parents who can bring up better children.. zzz

anyway.. liverpool won 8-0! holy crap! i was super glad to wake up to catch the biggest european win! ^^

it's world pool championship week.. and i hope an asian wins it.. i fancy kuo po-cheng and bustamante to win.. =)

"face to fate" has just ended.. =(
really enjoyed my past few saturday mornings watching from 9-1230..
i guess i'm really into watching drama series.. and until now.. i've never really asked myself why i like to watch them so much.. =/

the best reason i can think of is i'm really tired of my current life.. army once again! it gets really irritating at times.. i seriously can't imagine myself working in the future.. without any school holidays.. everyday just doing the same thing.. =x

those drama series bring me into a total new world.. it allows me to fantasize being in their world of fantasy.. yeah.. sometimes i just wished that i could have their kind of lives.. oh well.. like i said.. "fantasy"

world pool championships just started.. reyes just lost to some unknown from japan.. =/
